Big Hearts this Valentine’s Day

ALL IS FULL OF LOVE

Spend this holiday by honoring what it is truly about….love. It’s one of those holidays that we have to take back into our own thoughtful hands. In order to live less commercially and more environmentally responsible, we have to remember the true essence of these types of holidays. If you want to honor the people, animals and earth this upcoming Valentine’s Day, but don’t want to cheat yourself or your lover and friends out of the fun, here are some ideas to spread your love come Feb. 14.

Adopt an animal, just like MISSY pictured here, from ASPCA

Feeling lonely this Valentine’s Day? Adopt a furry friend and you’ll see what it is to be loved unconditionally.  The most beautiful thing about saving a life is realizing how much they can save ours.

Drew Barrymore w/ her beloved adopted pet, Vivian!!

We found the gift list from Girlie Girl Army to be very helpful! We especially adore the Alexandra Ferguson pillows. Not only will you be supporting independent designers on fabulous etsy.com by purchasing a gift from her, but the felt that she uses is made from 100% post-consumer recycled water bottles and the fill is recycled poly. Need an alternative to those little heart candies? We couldn’t resist posting this pillow’s message…

And last, but certainly not least, Cri de Coeur is offering a special SALE with incredible savings of up to 70% on past seasons. Get amazing deals on items such as the Allison Open Toe Wedge featured in our “How We Wear It” this month.

Also, as an extra incentive to shop, we are offering an additional 15% off already discounted items. Enter ‘lovespring’ at checkout!

Wear your heart out!

xx,

Julie & Gina
