thank you getskinnyvegan! i am so glad you agree with our list!!! it's hard to pick sometimes, but i think these are some of the most inspiring books out there. for both women and men .... i appreciate the china study because it gets people who may not care as much about animals but more for their health because it really has revolutionized the diet as cure for cancer. and i appreciate eating animals because it delves into eating meat as part of tradition and how changing that is hard on the family dynamic. i love skinny bitch, cus hey, we all would love to drop a few pounds and they just talk to us like a girlfriend would. then there are the more serious books that tell me things that just KILL me and are hard to read. i know a lot of people don't want to hear it... but if i can help change their minds by avoiding that, i will.... so important though to know what we as american's are contributing to.

anyway, on a lighter note, i really hope you LOVE your shoes! and supporting companies that CARE is always a good way to spend your money... of course! ;)

best to you and yours!

Makes me feel somewhat less guilty about the incredibly sexy shoes I just bought from you, well, I just didn't NEED another pair of shoes, BUT that my shoe company puts out vegan book lists, well, I just call my shoe shopping "charity" now. Right? I mean, you are changing the planet and providing 5 inch heels, vegan style. I also like that you included all styles of books on the list. I would say that these are some of the most persuasive books. I love John Robbins but I know a LOT more people who are eating more plants because of Skinny Bitch. Not "more" maybe, but less likely vegans. I am old school and so Robbins was a real turning point. But totally impressed with the amount of people reconsidering what is on their plate from Pollan, The Skinny Series, Eating Animals, and Forks over Knives. A LOT of people who I would have guessed unlikely vegans, are contemplating issues. And I am getting a lot of questions now, because suddenly it is "trendy" to eat kale and now cow. Generally I am not into "trends" but if people are eating more kale and buying more 5 inch vegan heels, then I will take it!!!!!!!!
